FYI: for ATI users and DFI NF4..set PCI-E frequency to 105

This maybe common knowledge but I did a search in this forum and saw nothing..if repost sorry

I was playing with settings on my DFI SLI-DR and had at one time seen at DFI street from the mods to set pci-e freq to 105 for ATI cards..well I did this...

ran my card and had no issues

well for a some reason, I was worried that the pcie speed spectrum was now changed this would cause and undid the 105 PCI-E freq...forgot and then tested for artifacts in ATI TRAY TOOL..well card had artifacts at stock....

Then I was reminded of this settings

So please do not be stupid like me

ATI PCI-E vid card= setting PCI-E to 105

never said it was not posted elsewhere..but I let it slip my mind

I think it is a nice reminder for people since the DFI manual is so clear

give the complex nature of this mobo I thought it was reasonable post...

its is a good reminder nealh, glad it worked for you.

its definitely one of those settings that can be overlooked and as an nv user is kinda confusing. i don't understand why one is better at 105 and one at 101/100 but whatever works i guess.
