FYI: Chuck and Dexter now available Netflix Streaming

Dexter was on the Canadian Netflix for a while. Though since I... ahem, get the American version, this is good news as I don't have to swap back and forth.

Or as like to think of Chuck: The Sarah Walker Show

🙂wub: Yvonne Strahovski...come to think of it, she ended up on Dexter. Maybe I will watch Dexter now :hmm🙂

only first 4 seasons of dexter are on there from what i read, and the final 4 will be on there january 1st.

Chuck is great. It doesn't take itself too seriously, though there is action and light drama the further you get into it. Love all the actors (casting of Adam Baldwin couldn't be better, for example) and they had some of the best guest actors. It has a "real" ending, too (meaning it wasn't cancelled abruptly) unlike a few other really good shows from around that time.

And I  Yvonne Strahovski, too, but I gotta say for a few episodes even she was overshadowed by Kristin Kreuk. Love Kristen Kreuk.

Chuck is one of the many shows I'm surprised people haven't seen.

Loved Chuck. Might have to sign up for Netflix just for Chuck.

When I heard about Dexter being on Netflix again, I immediately decided I'd get an account...I watched every episode of Chuck so that's just gravy. 🙂

Both Chuck and Dexter suffered from strong starts, ok middles, and pretty low finishes. But on the plus side at least they DID finish.

BTW. I really wish Jeffster would pop up in another show or movie cameo. I've seen both of them in one project or the other. Actually a show just about the Buy More and the people in it would be fine with me. Those episodes were some of the best...or even a Baldwin character spinoff as well. 😀

It has some really good episodes in the early seasons. But it drags on after that. Nothing to lose, watch a few episodes.

The first 2 seasons are great and I think the 4th season was amazing (might be wrong which one it was) but it went downhill after that.

I mean seriously... don't bother watching the last season. Just assume that
Dexter and Morgan skipped town and lived happily ever after
at the end of Season 7... it would be a MUCH better ending than all of the unbelievable crap that happened in Season 8 🙁

so just curious ... those of you who have netflix, is dexter seasons 5-8 now on there? i had heard that seasons 1-4 were going to be on there initially, then 5-8 will be on there after the new year.

if it's there now, is it available to stream? if so i think i'm going to sign up so i can finish up the series.

Dexter was good right up until Deb found out who Dexter was. After that it's like they never quite figured out to work that into a decent storyline and it got pretty stupid.

I can check when I get home, but after Season 6, just assume they sail off into the sunset and stop watching. It seriously jumps the shark after that. I'd argue Season 5 is the point to leave, but there is some pretty good imagery in the 6th season and the ending is what you'd expect.

yeah i agree it got pretty out there and far fetched, but i liked the story and characters so i wanna see how it finishes. i mean, it IS a show about a serial killer who is also a forensics cop, so you have to suspend SOME disbelief. but i do agree, it started to get even more out there in the later seasons.

i've seen up to season 7 so i gotta see how it ends.
