Just picked up an OEM FX60 local for $289! Wee! 😀

Nice upgrade plus I didn't have to buy a new motherboard or memory. 😎
 
I'd rather do that upgrade then have to buy all new mobo/memory + a CPU. Plus I didn't have to tear my box apart. Five mins and I am back up and running.

Also, it's a good thing I don't care what you think. 😉
 
dude, nice freakin deal, and an FX-60 is definitely not a thing of the past. My A8N-32SLI+ FX-60 + PC4000 Ram + 8800GTX is rocking along very very nicely in vista. I dont plan to upgrade until the 45nm quad cores are out, or Barcelona proves to be the better option. Either way this computer will be a rocking media center at that point.
