yes changing those settings will impact performance. goto nvidia.com and download the newest drivers. they come with a utility called nvidia control panel. Use this to change your driver variables to "performance" mode. this will give you much better performance!

The settings you are referring to such as

antistrophic - s a method of enhancing the image quality of textures on surfaces that are at oblique viewing angles with respect to the camera (cleans up muddy textures)
AntiAliasing - Fixes the jagged lines

Worms being a pretty old title wont benefit much from these.

All of the FXes were experimental, and the experiment was a colossal failure. The FX 5200 and 5500 were the very bottom rungs of a poorly-performing generation that lost badly in competition with ATI's vastly superior Radeons.

Worms, however, is so old and requires so little from a graphics card that anything can handle it.

Ah thanks..i downloaded the driver, installed it and the graphic card is struggling/fan is always screaming at me at start ups i think this agp graphics card is a failure >.< that and its too damn loud in general use (puts earplugs in a night to get sleep) its the galaxy fx5500 i might switchover to the ATI/amd agp solution
