Fx5200 OR geforce3 TI???

Yep I'd say in some games you should get twice the performance. I'd definitely get the 4800se is you got the cash. With generals, that game is pretty cpu bound, so performance in it will depend on that primarily.

I can tell you that on my rig, with a GF3 Ti200, I can run NFS:U very well @ 1024x768 with almost everything detail-wise cranked, with no FSAA or AS filtering.

Ditto here and I just got done playing demos of NFS-Underground and Jedi Academy with no sweat. Also just finished Max Payne 2 recently as well. I'm not doing jack on the vidcard buying until I see HL2 murder my Gef3(and I know it will..lol).

My friend has a 5200 ultra... (got it for free) and it runs all his games great... BF1942 being his main game... no lag at 1024x768. I remember my old gf3ti200 lagged a crap load on that game

but i guess theres a big diff between a 5200NU and U

From what ive herd, theres also a pretty big difference b/w a ti200 and prophet ti500...correct if im wrong...The ti4800 guy is askin for duble of what im getting for my fx...Id rather save cash and bye a gud card this summer...Although I have the cash...Im only looking to game moderately... :p XAMZ

Wht 01 scores to Xpect on a p4 1.8? 512DDR 266 ??

hm, not sure what it would look like on yours, but NFS:U looked like crap on my old Ti200 card (now in a PC at work) :p

So if im buying a Ti500...Is it worth the extra $20 Ill hafta pay? considering the price of cards locally...
