CFO ask me for a notebook, it has to be reliable and las 3 year...

FVING i hate this crap.. everything is mass produced and wont last forever..

someone link me some ratings so i can print it out and order any pc from that place..

theres no such thing as reliable.. its all cover by warranty stuff... last thing i need is the guy calling me 3 in the morning complaining about this..

so far i said i dont know any

but theres no proof that dell is reliable.. i use dell, i like it, i have no problems.. i dont wanna get blame for this crap..

can't wait till monday... dropping the i quit bomb..

CFO? HP nc2400 laptop with a 3 yr onsite warranty. Great machine (make sure he's cool with a pointstick though), and really light. Go for it.

You're the IT guy right? Stop complaining and do your job!

I'm in the market for a lappie too. What do you suggest?

Every manufacturer has their problem machines/parts... If he needs it to absolutely last 3 yrs, the warranty is the more important issue than the machine itself...
