go sox.

it clearly hit the ground,
Clearly it did not.

And the ump signaled an out.

to be honest i couldnt tell if it did or not. the replay does not show 100% it does look like it bounces

They replayed it 3 or 4 times in slow motion, definitly did not hit the ground.

That doesn't matter. The Ump called it a strike TWICE. That changes the way the ball is played. Even if it did hit the ground, the umps made the call... game over.

if the ump signalled an out, how the hell does play continue? How can play after that even matter or count at all?

it's one thing for them to change a call like a home run, which doesn't affect the play immediately afterwards... but to do that just allowed the Angels catcher to misplay the ball. Total BS.

its a strike out. BUT on 3rd strike if the catcher mises the ball the runner can advance. so yes he can have 3 outs and get on base.

true..just earlier in that game, Crede looked to be safe sliding back to 2nd base after a fly out but the call stood. So in this case, once the ump signals out, he's out.
