I feel your pain. Although I've heard a pretty funny ska group on the morning radio show I listen to. They are called Johnny Socko and the song was about truck drivers.

Hilarious - but it a totally obnoxious ska kinda way. I don't see how anyone could seriously get into the genre
 
its not all bad, LTJ just plain kicks ass, and they kick more as slivem RBF is great as well

the aquabats are good as well, saw them live years ago, great show - they were all dressed in large chicken suits
