I logged onto paypal last night and did a transfer for 50 bucks out of my checking account to deposit in PP. I got the email a few mins after just like normal. Maybe they are done with maintainance?
 
Maintenance/upgrade my a$$. If you know your site is fvcked up because of some "coding" error, why don't you just go back to the old code until you figure out what's going on? Instead...let's let everybody sit and spin for 4 days while we find this "error".
 
ebay should have shut down along with them. It's hard for one to exist without the other.

But I am glad I don't have a PayPal account. I purchase on eBay using money orders.
 
ugh, i need to make payments!! i got in earlier this morning. i need to check my balance before using my paypal card... but now i'm weary of using it.
 
i was able to send money out to two people last night, one of whom verified that he received. the other i haven't heard from but i know it went out as well (it deducted from my bank account so it better have!). i did get a few errors tho on each transaction, but they both went through.
 
God damn I made a purchase with the paypal debit card last thursday thinking I would get some audio parts in time this friday. Now I got the money of two people and I will have to delay another week before I can ship out my stuff.
I need to see some compesation out of this. I need free listing and free paypal fee.

Damn, I'm in the same boat here. Need to ship some stuff :frown: I think they really do make enough money that they can have a working site :roll:

Remember Paypal.com is NOT a bank and is NOT FDIC insured.

If they were to go out of business (highly unlikely as eBay owns them) you would lose $$$
 
I also don't understand how a class action suit could succeed, as they don't guarantee any level of service whatsoever.
 
It looks like PayPal is back online. I was just able to access it and complete some deals with no problems. *crosses fingers and knocks on wood*

Looks like Paypal ate $35 of my money then. Good thing I saved the receipt
