Fvck movie critics ... Fantasic Four was a good summer movie

screw what you are hearing all these critics saying. I saw it last night w/my GF and we both enjoyed it greatly, as did everyone in the sold out theatre. the movie does not suck at all. the acting is decent for a summer action flick, and the effects are really nice as well.

i heard critics complaining about how they go into detail of where the thing's one liner comes from ... it was like a 5 second clip. i don't know why critics have to overanalyze EVERY freaking movie, then we see movies like Lost in Translation, or CHicago up for academy awards.

if you like movies like Spiderman then you will like this movie. The acting in this isn't any worse than the baby toby mcguire in Spiderman. its definitely worth watching in the theatre too because of the sound and effects.

Summer movies aren't about deep plots and Oscar winning performances. They're about high speed car chases, blowing sh!t up, and high dollar FX. A super hero movie fills that niche well.

Oh come on, it wasn't even a good action movie.

1.) alba is still a terrible actress. better than sin city but still awful
2.) the FX were terrible, with the exception of the thing. every CG shot was WAY below par for today's movies.
3.) Reid and doom didn't establish anything. pure cheese from both of them. even in a dumb action movie, you have to care enough that you actually want one of them to win.
4.) the script spent way too much time on boring crap and flew by the few parts that were interesting.

I love a good action movie as much as the next guy, but this one stunk.

Eh the plot was pretty thin but i thought the action was fun.

Like other says..good summer flick

My friends that are hardcore comic people seemed to like it...

rotten tomatoes is, for the mostpart, on point. most movies that get released aren't good. some people have low standards and can appreciate crap. they pay to see crap so hollywood makes it. if raise your bar, hollywood will have to raise its bar.

i will not be seeing this movie.

I think it boils down to this; if you actualyl sat through ID4, or The ROck, or BAttlefield Earth, or any other Bruckheimer/Bay cinematic abortion you'll proabbly like this movie too.

The Rock was bad ass. Criterion Collection. Don't label it in the same category as Battlefield Earth or any other sh!t movie.
