All of a sudden today sections of my monitor are not clear
Any text that appears in the vertical center of my monitor is slighlty blurred
Running a Belinea 1925S1 Widescreen (1440*900) on an MSI 8600GT thru a DVI to VGA adapter using 162.18 drivers from nvidia
any ideas why? thuis is very annoying
 
That can happen with VGA (why are you using it anyway?).

Your monitor should have an auto-calibration setting.
