There's a new show on Discovery called FutureWeapons. It's about weapons that are being designed or have recently been designed that really change the way of battle.

The commercials say the premeire is tomorrow night but I just watched an episode and there was another on after so I dunno whats up with that.


It kinda made me want to play BF2 again but I don't want to torture myself any more. I wish there was another game like BF2 that actually was good though.

I was listening to Jim Rome on Friday and he had the host on, Richard Machowicz. He was talking about the Seals, the show and his book. The guy sounds like he was full of energy. The book is called "Unleash the Warrior Within." I'm thinking about buying it.

It's not a new show, I think there has been at least one season. He looks at some pretty cool stuff.

that was the one i watched. was pretty amazing.

ah, didn't realize season 2 was starting, that muct have been what they meant by premiere. i hadn't heard of the show until recently.

I can't wait... I hate seeing the same commercial every 5 minutes for weeks on end. Once it airs and the gun nuts get their fix, it should settle down to a once-in-a-while plug.

It's cool because the guy can actually play with some of the toys since he was a seal (or maybe it was a marine, something like that).

I like the show okay, but I absolutely hate the host.

Why does the guy whisper through the whole show?

The writing can be terrible, wish they would just let him talk rather than act.

Couldn't agree more! The idea for the show is great but the hosts over dramatic voice pisses me off.

hmm...the parts i've seen were kinda weak. Future soldier, seen that before in another show. Strykers too. Not too impressed with the Stryker episode. The automatic .50 caliber sniper rifle? that was interesting but a bit weak because he only took one shot at a watermelon down range. I wanted him to hit 5 watermelons in a row!
