Link - Just an FYI for all our single forum members. 😉

Future Publishing, parent of Edge, GamesRadar, CVG and an array of official gaming magazines, has launched Game 4 A Date, an online dating site made for gamers.

"Game 4 A Date is a dating site designed just for you, helping you to find that someone special who shares a zeal for games," the website reads.

The site can be found at www.game4adate.com.

It's not free? Fuck that.

I'd at least make a profile for the hell of it if it was free, but I'm not paying for a dating site period.

There was something like this created years ago when I played Everquest... it was supposed to be an MMO'ers dating site... I don't think the idea ever went too far 🙂

Considering the painfully bad sausage to girl ratio of regular dating websites, this one is going to be approaching infinity to one.

Sweet on Geeks is a dating site meant for geeks and it's free... but it has a relatively painfully low membership from what I've seen. Amusingly enough, SoG originally tried to be pay to message, but they eventually gave that up 😛.

I'll take a look at that site for kicks.

oh my god, you guys are so right about the ratio...then when you factor in the fact that 1/10000 gamer chicks are actually hot...this doesn't look good at all.

I don't know about that, the few gamer chicks I've met have been pretty hot. Now I haven't met that many so the sample is not statistically valid... but my experience has been good. YMMV 🙂
