Fox is run by a bunch of idiots that decided to put Futurama in a crappy 6:30 Central Time timeslot that was always pre-empted by football games. It couldn't get the ratings because it rarely could be aired at a predictable time slot, so they canned it. Damnation.

At least Futurama got several seasons in. The Critic was a much funnier show IMO and it got absolutely no chance to continue. And the Simpsons, god bless them, should have been shut down about 3 years ago, but Fox wont let go of that one. I wonder if anyone will be watching when that show goes off the air. Did anyone see the 300th episode? What a steaming pile that was.

I never saw Firefly...didnt know people actually watched it.

I may be a bit ashamed to admit it, but my wife and I were totally hooked on "Jon Doe"

They ended the 1st season with a big fat hairy cliffhanger and then cancelled it. Damn you FOX, Damn you to hell!!!

BTW, to stay on topic, the commentary tracks on the futurama dvds are the best ever!!!!!!!!! Very entertaining!!
