Futurama marathon

I just finished my Thursday afternoon classes and I have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. I own every single Futurama DVD, including the movies. That's something like 85 episodes and 4 movies. Can I do this in one 3-day weekend?

Easy, the TV episodes are only about 21 minutes a pop without commercials. That's only 30 hours and another 6 for the movies. 12 hours a day gets it done.

Hell yeah I want to. But I do have some 'obligations' this weekend - got to get drunk with some friends on Friday night and something will probably come up on Saturday night. Social life takes precedence over Futurama 🙂 But I'm gonna try.

you won't be able to do it. you'll hit that first movie after the tv episodes and the abrupt quality change will take away all of your motivation.

I thought the other ones were better.

I happen to think all of the movies are as good or even better than the series, with the possible exception of Bender's Game.
really? i remember watching the beginning of bender's big score and thinking "this is so damn corny!" i actually put bender's game in the dvd player the other day but never got around to watching it again. i'll try to watch at least one of them tonight 😉

the other two, i haven't seen (or bought) yet but i eventually will.

That being said, I have been known to enjoy a good marathon with friends....

It's like watching a season of 24 in one day. You CAN, but you'll feel pretty awful afterwards. Especially if you equate the show with the number of beers in a suitcase.

Yes he wants to. Hell, I want to now that it has been mentioned. 🙂

The show is so awesome. I'll need to wait a long time before doing such thing, I've seen most episodes quite a few times each, can't overdo it - don't want to kill the fun of the show.

I've heard that a lot and is why, while I want to see them, I still haven't watched any of them.

I own the DVDs, not downloaded.

I own them up to Bender's Game, but I'm surprised you didn't get the reference of my first post. 😛
