This show has seen nothing but Drama from Fox since its inception.

I won't write it off completely until I've seen the replacements though; cross your fingers.

summary: fox is cheap. They know this show will rake in the dough, and they want it all for themselves.

interesting that fox put the blame on salary demands. if that's the case, then im not sure what to think.

the show will def not be the same with diff voice actors

The mishandling of shows like Arrested Development and Family Guy were one thing, but this is an all new low.

the newer shows were pretty bad anyway.

or perhaps I'm just thinking of their "feature-length" episodes

They were worse than the later episode, but pretty much an appropriate continuation to the last episodes. The show was definitely on the decline.

Fuck 'em. They want my money for Blu-Rays and such, they better bring back the original actors.

They killed Arrested Development after moving it to the worst time slot ever, and blamed lack of viewers for its demise.

Family Guy warranted mishandling. Arrested Development didn't.

They moved it to the worst time slot ever because it already had really low viewership. I don't think Fox handled AD poorly. It was miraculous it lasted as long as it did with such low viewer numbers.

How much did those jerks expect to get paid? All they do is talk into a microphone in-sync with the animation. They deserved to be replaced.

Woah. You need to understand how much work it is.
I have seen actors who do voice work in studios. It is a lot of hours and many people who try to do it don't come off as believable. Look at all the animated movies and compare the voice work.

They sound like they are reading a script out of a book. A lot of them don't put any acting into it. Compare that to someone like the professor or Fry on futurama. You can tell how the character feels and is acting without even looking at the cartoons.

They wanted too much money, and could have kept their jobs and kept you happy. Instead, the were greedy.

Or Fox was being greedy; heaven forbid!

It's Fox - is there honestly any suprise? I stopped counting how many good series they've killed when I ran out of room on my fingers and toes.

I don't suppose anyone has any dollar figures on what these salary demands may have been?

In any case: 🙁

Good news, everyone! There's a report on TV with some very bad news!

DAMNIT! They had better come to their senses....

I suspect that FOX is just trying to make sure the show doesn't gain traction once it gets going again.
