Just saw the scene where Fry has just downloaded Lucy Liu from nappster.com and has put her into a blank mac-formatted robot. The best part is that she keeps bothing him to register her.

I saw the very first episode and the one about the dimension in a box...Both really good.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force is probably my fav. cartoon ever though :) I've seen ~6 episodes, and that's enough for me.

I like the one where he is looking for his clover and in the end he finds out that his nephew was the guy he thought was his brother... it's actually quite sad. :(

Yeah, definitely. Then they started playing that one 80's song from the Breakfast Club (I forgot the name right now). Great episode.

I thought the one about his dog waiting for him to come back after he was frozen, laying outside the pizza shop for years in the rain etc was pretty freakin sad

Yup, another sad one to add to the list. Also, the one where it shows Leela's parents watching after her as she's growing up. At the end of the episode, it's this little montage that shows all that they did for her as she grew up, and how they kept on eye on her.

Why do you ppl seem to discover things like this months, even years, after everyone else? Yes, Futurama's funny. It was funny back in 1999 when it first aired. I'm going to go make a "Wow! Welcome Back Kotter is great!" thread. Criminey.

I never watched the show when it originally aired on TV. Same with southpark and familyguy. Now I have all the eps.

damn man..who took a crap in your beef stroganoff?!

I saw this episode YEARS ago, and seeing it again, I enjoyed it een more.

The key to futurama, the90s season's of the simpson's and even recent successes of the ATHF has been attention to plot and character development.. ATHF is no where near as refinied as FUturama, but it gets the job done..for a 15min show:eek:

Futurama, and even the simposons back in it's hayday, are marvels of animation. The seemingly quaint yet marvelous way in which they mingle reality and utter ubsurity in a way that realtes so precisely to reality is refreshing and utterly hilarious. Best of all, when they get sserious, such as futurama has done a lot, they do it with class, and with a wismy that makes everyone enjoy it.

Fro example, as many will agree, the classic episode of the simpsons where Burns is running for mayor is well, fantastic. Satirical comedy at its best in the form animation no less.

Futurama's lifetime, as a products of simpson writters grows on that and allows for more ubsurtity in spades with the satire and warmth that everyoen loves.

This is the position taken by those who don't get the math / physics / programming / general geek jokes that permeate the show.
