Hi I have the comp shown in link in sig. I've been having some problems before. With the comp freezing. Detailed here...http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=27&threadid=1525769
I thought it was a faulty psu due the my having to unplug the power cable fully turn the psu off and then restart everything. It would fail to fully boot at times. Last night, I was playing wow and it froze. It took me a long time to get it to start up to windows.
At times it would keep displaying the windows screen w/ the moving bar. Othere errors I've been getting...

Award Bootblock Bios
BIOS ROM CHECKSUM ERROR

Keyboard Error or No Keyboard
Detect Floppy DIsk
Enter System Disk and Press Enter

Or it jsust won't boot and all I see is a flashing _ and nothing else happens after the statup beep.

Or sometimes I would stop at the memory self test error. Whether I press f1 or del it takes me to the following screen:

NVRAID IDE BUS or something
Detecting Array...
and freeze there.

I have already tried resetting the cmos but it doesn't seem to do anything.

This morning all on its own I can boot. But now I get the awful stuttering again even after greatly reduced settings making the game unplayable. I doubt its an fps issue.

So my question is here is what seems wrong? If its the cpu/mobo the deadline to rma to the vendor is fast approaching. I have also put in a brand new psu and that didn't seem to be the problem.

Update: No help? What has at come to in these days I've been gone? Anyway I've fixed teh stuttering by turning off fastwrites and throlttling in bios. But that still leaves the random shutodwn problem.

Yo. Chill out. This is not a 24/7 tech support forum, occasional appearances to the contrary.

Given your bizarre and wide-ranging set of errors, I'm inclined to think there is a hardware problem of some sort, especially since you are having problems just getting past the POST.

Did you try resetting the BIOS?

Did you try memtest86?

Is there a BIOS update available for the board?

Also, specs?

Specs is in rig. I did try resetting the bios. Strangely the comp has been working fine for the past week as is always the case after a night of berserking.

Your link to your rig doesn't work, so you'll need to fix the link or post your specs if you expect more help..but it is oviously a hardware issue. Have you run memtest? Are you montoring your temps? I had similar issues when I was using a generic POS power supply. Have you tried running with the motherboard out side of the case, it could be being caused by a stray standoff in the wrong place, shorting out the motherboard.
