Furnace problem...

I remember this being asked on here before. How can you prevent that? It's definitely not a reassuring sound to hear coming from a furnace. I'm guessing too much gas builds up in the chamber and the ignition makes the air in front of the duct expand too quickly. Help! Electric ignition, btw.
