shortform of word continuous (usually used on PowerPoint slides and elsewhere)....

this one time me, my prof (non-native) and another student were sitting with him, programming some optimization code in C++. He named one of the variables representing continuous random variable with that short form, and repeated probably 100 times during business hours...of course not knowing real meaning or hillarity that he was ensuing!! 😀
