Clitoris.

It's what I always wanted to name my daughter. Then, when she was a teenager and had stopped communicating, I could wail, "Oh, Clitoris, why won't you open up to me?"

 
Niggardly.

It means cheap and has nothing to do with race, although I do remember a public official using the word appropriately and then having to step down from office.
