I can still remember my 6th grade teacher, Mr. Rader, telling us about how most trees have male and female reproductive parts.

"Look at that big oak tree!" he would say, pointing out the window. "Imagine all of the male reproductive organs dangling off of THAT! No wonders the limbs are starting to sag!"

He would also use jokes to teach us math concepts-- like the old joke about ladies dresses being half off...
