Funny thing about this board....

I find it very funny how anyone that thinks Bush is a good president is "Blindly Following" or using "talking points" and anyone that is against Bush is "Correct".

It's painfully obvious that this board has no tollerance for the middle ground and the mods really don't enforce the no direct personal attack rule.

and whenever one of the "neocons" or "bushies" makes a valid point we are drowned out by kool aid and tin foil calls, which seems to be acceptable on this forum, but any such reference aimed at the liberals/dems gets slammed immediately

...and logic is not permitted, sir, so please refrain from the display thereof 🙂

..and they wonder why they do not control a single facet of government, though they are so mainstream American. Funny how that works, too. 🙂

Truth hurts, eh?

You see. No one political party is ever 100% right nor is it ever 100% wrong. Just so happens at this point in time, the majority of the Republican Party, overrun with neocons and neocon-wannabes, is in the wrong.

I'm sure at some point in the future that will change.

Oh? That's why I got a week vacation? That's why others have, too?

Liberals are always correct, or they assume that they are correct. This is one of the major flaw of the 'elite' left. They think that they are smarter, better, and more worldly than the bumpkin Conservatives in the world. Well, it is all just a desperate attempt to try to claw back up from the pit history. Liberal influence had been flagging for a long time, is it surprising to see them resort to desperate measures to try to regain any of their former glory.

Here is a hint to all liberals... You are not smarter than me, you are not better then me, and you sure as hell are not more worldy. Lastly, you are not hippies, quit trying to re-enact one of the most worthless social movements in the history of America. Also, if you hate America, leave.

Can't wait to hear Rush, Hannity, CAD & Co go back to sitting Democrat President Bashing like Rush did when Clinton was President.

sorry must reply to this

if your thoughts on any issue holds grounds then I have no problems with it, but all too often people think their ideas are just right just because they feel it to be so

Post-of-the-year---all in favor?

Aye.

if you are ever in the D.C. area, sir, adult beverages are on me.

I've thought for a long time that all of the threads in P&N could just be combined into one big sticky thread. It would save a lot of space. I mean, most of the threads are the same thing over and over again.

Oh well, still they are enjoyable to read.

Generally speaking, if you look at the posts here, most think that their a$$ hole is the prettiest one around. The difference is that the left generally point to credible references that support why thier round and firm ones are lovely, while the right likes to report what their mommy says. That said, if there were a few more intelligent neocons on this forum, things would be better balanced.

Did your mommy tell you that? 😉

HAHAHA. More worldly? I would not hesitate to say that I am just a bit more worldly than you. Want to know why? Because I don't slam other countries for not agreeing with me. Because I understand the fact that other cultures base their decisions on consequences rather than blind faith. Why don't you go visit a country outside of the US and stay there for an extended period of time. That would help you become more worldly. Spewing crap does no such thing to help your worldliness.

I don't hate America. I have never truly hated America, just the people running it. Don't get those two things mixed up.

Go off and listen to Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly's "worldly" views. You might feel better.

Left, credilble references? OK, tell me one credible leftist resource that hasn't blow its own head off with overtly biased publishing. Why do almost 90% of Americans no longer belive that news reports are not biased in some way? There is no credibility in any media, because reporting died in the 70s, it is all commentary now. Sadly, some people still try to act as if they are reporting while they know that they are doing nothing more than stumping for one side or the other.

We also know which side is a bit more guilty here. At least all of the Conservative talking heads identify themselves as commentators, not unbiased reporters.

I think that statement is repeated a lot too, I mean didnt the libs just say in another thread that they have "more diverse" ideas than the Reps? yet here is a phrase that I see ten times a day at least.

Please, continue to dismiss any argument from the right as Rush/O'Reilly/Hannity brainwashing, it makes you guys look SOOO intelligent.

I don't really listen to the media. I listen to people's direct speeches and lesser-known political analysts. Your point is moot.

I have never said I have diverse ideas. I am just more open to them.

Some of you are bringing up people not on this board. I am not speaking about radio or television personalities... I'd like to think we all are above them. If you think that all Republicans are of the same mindset as Rush or Oreiley then you have really gone beyond what I originally thought you have.

I am specifically speaking about the posters on the Anandtech Politics and News board.

This includes the poster above who wanted to toss in the Quote by Bush about being with us or the Terrorists. Can you possibly pull something more out of context into this post?
