funny taste in my mouth when sick

I've been semi-sick with a cold/cough the last week ... what's with the funny taste in my mouth (I feel it most when swallowing) and weird feeling in my sinus (not talking about the stuffy one) ? Can't really describe it better than that...

What's the reason behind this ?

Metallic taste can mean any number of things, it's really common especially if you've had some sort of infection/virus. It will probably pass in a day or two.

If it doesn't go see your doctor.
