Obviously, the New Dem Coalition can afford to say, "See Ya" to these folks. Half of them can't get over Hillary's primary loss, the other half can't get over Obama's primary victory. Their rationale is a disparate one, a mix of Second Wave Feminist, victimist sexism, some racism, and lots of totally irrational assorted bits of nonsense.

They will scatter to the four winds. Who the hell cares where they end up. 18 million? How about 18 thousand.

They are naught but a fart in the wind. Watching their wailings and gnashings is perversely entertaining, I have to confess.

wow...talk about the pot calling the kettle black.. For the majority, this place is very much the same.

This place has plenty of diversity. You will find proponents of both parties here.

No can do!!!!

Obama doesn't do anything honorably and doesn't deserve my respect.

IMO, Obama and his supporters and hackers have found a way to cheat on a massive scale. We aren't looking in the right places.

Does anyone believe that Obama would try to win legitimately????

They honestly believe that Obama fans somehow cheated the system. Record turnout couldn't have anything to do with it. *sigh*

I think Anonymous should start messing with the hilary forums... would be hilarious!
We heard the same sort of loonie complaints in this forum after the '04 election. If McCain would have won we'd have heard those accusations in here again too. Some people just can't accept defeat gracefully.

Well it would be one thing if it was down to the wire and a very close split... but Obama won in a landslide. It wasn't even close. Top it off with tons of videos showing record voter turnout in every state and you'd have to be downright insane to think the democrats somehow rigged the election.

The worst posts are the ones from women that are teaching their children to be crazy too. It takes a long time to recover from that kind of parental brainwashing.

I love how the landslide victory silenced all the Acorn BS artists that were already preparing to cry fraud if it was close. You can't claim that fraud played a role in this election unless you want to sound like a crazy person, or truly are one.

It sounds insane no matter which side of the ailse it comes from. Hopefully some from the other side of the ailse have gained a little perspective now on what insanity sounds like too. ;)

I admit, I have some kind of sick fascination with that place. It's like a train wreck to me; I go there expecting at some point I'll see something like "HAHA, this is all a joke!"

No, it doesn't appear that it is. I was even on their chat last night (like I said, I can't help myself) and heard everything from a desire to BOMB Obama's "ghetto in Chicago", to assassinating him, to praying for impeachment, etc. People were hysterical, saying they were crying, their life is over and they're leaving the country.

Vitriol aside, that's not the most interesting aspect of this place; rather, what's most interesting is how truly ignorant they all are about American government.

All in all, it's a little depressing and embarrassing. I am only glad that the "18 million cracks in the ceiling" was mostly from normal human beings, and the rest from a few thousand cooks that congregate online.

I don't think SP33Demon is Palin, I doubt Palin would even know how to access this site.

I managed to register and post some very moderate views and counter points, all in polite and open-discussion-oriented language. That didn't exactly go over very well. :D

The President just doesn't have enough power to make me worried too much; these people need a serious education on how the government works.

I'm not worried about Obama, the only thing that is bad is that he and Pelosi will be raising every tax they can get their hands on. That's just inevitable because the American people are happy to support socialism if it benefits them (majority of voters are low income, therefore successful w/ high income get screwed). But other than that, we shouldn't see too much get passed. Obama's health care plan is going to get bogged down as people are not willing to support it once they realize the cost; would have been the same thing with McCain's plan if he won. On everything else Obama is fine with me; I support choice in abortion, rights for gays (not marriage though), funding for stem cell research, direct negotiation in foreign policy, etc.

Really though, people on this forum should not be talking. It's not as bad as some of these other forums on the web, but there are some pretty far left people on this forum.

Oh there are a few nut jobs on both sides of the aisle here, but overall the vast majority of people here are sane. There's multiple viewpoints, so it doesn't become an echo chamber that creates wackos (wackos aren't made here, they choose to come). There is a liberal slant here, but that's more due to the demographic of Anandtech.

Looking at these post I can see how we have arived at the mess we are in today and I know in my heart that it is about to get much better. Be very careful what you post here or the Federal Gestapo National Police Force that Obama wants to form will be coming to your home and dragging you away for being a dissident much the way the KGB operated. We could see the roots of this security force in PA yesterday. The United Black Panthers of America?? Barak?s new police force?
I never thought that I would ever see this day in my life. A day where common scene and ethics stepped aside for ignorance and self indulgence, a day where the US Constitution gave way to Socialism, a day where a man would lift himself up to be equal with our creator.
Please also note there was NO landslide. Once again this country is nearly evenly divided. Divided directly between the Godly and the Godless. The Righteous In Christ and the Unrighteous Children of Satan, The Strong and The Wimps. We are now two Americas but it has nothing to do with financial income. It has to do with principles.
PS. Remember not to submit y\the palm of your hand or forehead to Barack.

2 Timothy 3:1-18
1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

The people, (celebrating Obama?s win) remind me of the days Hitler was in charge in Germany?. They all flocked to him, thinking he was a ?GOD?, then were shown the truth of his wrath, when they had to walk through the death camps themselves, and smell the death he created! YOU FOLLOWERS ARE GOING TO REGRET THIS!

Friend of mine sent me this today; the flip side of the Christian view, from Christians to Christians. For those with broken sarcasm meters, the first paragraph is sarcasm.

The Sun Still Rose Today by Matt Allhands

So I woke up this morning and read that Obama won the Presidential election, which is weird because when I looked outside my window the town hadn't plunged into chaos...I mean really, the sun wasn't even red. I didn't even hear any angels blowing on trumpets, or see them emptying the bowls of God's wrath. Apparently life continues no matter who runs the Presidency. But since we have a new President there are some things that I want to address to the church.

First and foremost. Shame on you. I don't mean this universally because there are some who have retained an open mind during the media onslaught, but this is for those of you who were swept into the Fox News and ABC whirlwind of shamelessly biased media coverage. The closest thing I can link the campaign coverage to this time around is gossip, and there are some of us here that have gorged ourselves on negative coverage for the candidates we didn't like. That's a horrible image of democracy in and of itself, but a worse one for the church of Jesus Christ. After all, how can you judge a man's character based on what you see on the television? You can't, you have to know the man, you have to hear his words, not just pretend to be listening so you can launch your arsenal of political rhetoric.

The sun still rose today, and God has expectations for his people under this new leadership. We are to give unto Caesar what is his, to honor the law above and beyond what is written, and to preach the gospel. When I say preach the Gospel I don't mean arguing about abortion and same sex unions, or complaining about unfair electoral processes. I mean preaching the TRUE Gospel, the one that we have been distracted from. The Gospel that transforms a man whose heart hates God to it's very core to the image of Christ. It seems as if the social concern of the nation has been overthrown by political interests. But what better opportunity is that for us to take matters into our own hands finally?

If you want social transformation go and love God boldly, live biblically, and preach the fierce and scandalous grace of Jesus Christ.
