America is done as we know it. They are celebrating all over the world because they have been wanting America to fall to her knees for ages. I feel sorry for our children and our children's children that will suffer for this day.
I agree 100% with you. I will NEVER call him president. He will always be THAT ONE to me. I won't watch his inaugural, nor listen to his stupid speeches, um, er, uh, um, um, um. My God, My God, why has thou forsaken us? I'm going to cry now.
I will never Call this man Our President !
My daughter cried tonight too. I had gone in to tell her goodnight and that despite my not believing Obama was the man our country needed, we did need to realize that for African Americans and our entire country, this is an historic day. I wasn't really feeling up to that speech, but when you have a soon-to-be 15-year old, I thought it important. I told her next time we would work harder together to make sure our candidate won. I had planned on saying this even before I knew she was crying. Then it became even more important to let it know it will be okay. Just don't know who's gonna' tell me when I cry myself to sleep.
The saddest thing for me right now is that John McCain and Sarah Palin and all their family members are such NICE PEOPLE. I wanted those nice people to run the country, not these racist, anti-American, commie thugs.
Geesh I just realized-- I don't know what I am going to tell my 11 yr old daughter in the morning. She came to me at 5:30 pm (est) and told me Obama had won. I had to talk her down and explain to her about exit polling and that everything would be ok. I can't look at her and say everything will be ok now, she knows me to well. I can't tell her to be patriotic and support her president when I can't and won't do it myself. What a leason to learn at too young an age.
