:D It was mildly amusing but if the OP or others want to suggest it mirrors reality I'd suggest they start paying attention instead of lapping up such nonsense.

No need to pay attention when pushing their agenda.

Um they ignore medicare and medicaid costs. If we eliminated those two programs, we would be pretty much close to black.

And private health care costs would be reduced significantly.

I see nothing but typical liberal propaganda. If you're against wasteful government spending, means you are against teachers teaching children, you are against policemen fighting crime, and firefighters putting out fires.

Against government spending? It means you don't want people to have jobs, wish for others to go hungry, etc.

Only ultra-liberals would find it funny. Just an honest assessment.

It's just like if you try to cut defense spending to remove the waste, you're suddenly "soft on defense" or enacting more reasonable sentencing guidelines, you're "soft on crime."

Both sides play the twist the words game.

Irony. "Scare people away from change" said sarcastically, except that's what a balanced budget would be, far more change than anything else. This is the second cartoon I've seen from this site and, no sir, I don't like them.
