Don't get so upset. There is a certain amount of controversy surrounding the situation and people like to talk about it. If it was your GeForce4 Ti 4600 spanking the 9800pro's a$$ you would probably be more accepting of the post. Besides the title clearly says what it is so you and not obligated to look.

So just because i question the reasoning of the joke i'm an nvidia fan huh? Just FYI, i haven't bought a single Nvidia card since the GF2... and that's about a dozen videocard purchases since then. Maybe you shouldn't be so quick to assume things.

I know about the controversy and yes, it is sad that Nvidia is resorting to their tactics. I'm in no way an Nvidia fan, I just got a deal on my 4600 that I couldn't pass up, and Nforce2 is the best AMD chipset out there. I go for bang for the buck and that's what I ended up with. If anything I would rather have an ATI card, but I got the deal on the GF4. My point is that the Nvidia bashing is getting old, and my opinion is that it isn't funny any more.

Yeah, i never found the bashing funny or productive either. I would hate to see ATI as the sole top videocard. Infact, i hate it that ATI and Nvidia are the only options. But i guess some people lack accomplishments in real life that they need to get it through what type of videocard they have.

That because people voice their opinions about politics they must not have accomplished anything in there own lives or they would surely have something better to do. I find this thread far more productive than casting broad insults about people's lack of accomplishment or insinuations that people are somehow living vicariously through the accomplishments of their video cards.

this is getting worst than amd vs. intel.......i guess the fact of the matter is that people like competition, and that most people choose a side.....before radeon 9000 series came out, everyone was talkin bout how nvidia was kickin ati's ass, now the coin is flipping, BUT, as it usually does in these type of competitions, the coin WILL flip back, and back, and back.......and so on......it's always like that......back and forth......it will always be like that, and as a gamer and computer enthusiast, i'm glad it will be

That because people voice their opinions about politics they must not have accomplished anything in there own lives or they would surely have something better to do. Politics can directly affect our lives (i.e. lost jobs, going to war, higher taxes). Video cards don't affect us anywhere as much as politics, so please find a better comparison. I was (and still am) one of the bashers, but the bashing IMO has been beaten to death.

Besides, i never said that cartoon wasn't appropriate. I just said there is too much bashing going on around. I was just questioning the cartoon, shouldn't ATI be the pimp and Valve the one spanking Nvidia? Or are you guys all just bandwagon jumpers and on the latest thing,?
