eh, i dont know. its long and there isnt any payoff really.
i also really dont think i find The Pain of Techs to be that funny. its a really easy job and we tend to get paid pretty well.
people being dumb = my paycheck.

well, i dont actually work a help desk. i work in a school district. its public so i dont get paid that much, especially becuase they only have me part time now. but they are a well-off district so in a few years i could be making some pretty good cash especially becuase they have fantastic benefits and job security.

i dont find it boring becuase i mostly move from school to school fixing machines and setting them up for teachers. i dont ever get to spend more than a few minutes in my office or at my own machine. but it is a very repetitive job. and some of the guys i work with are very impatient with the teachers. maybe in a few years ill get annoyed too.
 
I can only imagine the frustration that goes with that job... It's bad enough helping out technically literate individuals with their computing problems but to help Joe Schmoe? I don't think so.
 
I love plan B... I cannot count the amount of times I have actually spoke with someones 10 y/o kid and had the comp fixed in minutes.😀
 
wait, b4 i DL..is this the one where that one dude kinda teaches the newcomer...and also tells the person-he's-helping's daughter to get his crying father to go get a mac?...
