Funny file extension (.iso)

Hi,

Does anyone know what I use to run a file with the extension of .iso ?

It is an installation file (or a compressed file)

cheers

*.iso is an image file (usually of a CD-rom)... if you downloaded an iso file, you need to first burn the contents of it onto a CD to "re-create" the installation CD... Most CD-burner software has a "Burn from Image" function to do this...

Thanks...

I was really worried though, since that file was BIG!! and I don't have a burner yet 🙁

Thankfully I found a program that expanded all the files out on my HDD

cheers
