How did any Joe Sixpack look at him in '04 and think:

"he has my best interest at heart. he cares about me and my family."

I just don't get it.
Because we didn't want to have our government bleed us dry through taxation so that lazy bums could get handouts and hardworking middle-class Americans would become addicted to the government trough.

Good point. Instead, let's deficit-spend until our government is so deep in the red that we can't even crawl out of the hole we got into. And then let's spend some more on a new Marine One helicopter while we bleed first responder agencies dry with lack of Homeland Security funds.

Funny how government spending is exploding under republican control of all 3 branches of government. BTW, taxes are going to be raised because of the enormous budget defecit (remember Bush I?).

😕

Could someone tell me what he was trying to say??
I guess he meant a non-gaseous form. Liquid is more solid than gas, afterall 🙂 It's just not a solid. He has in fact said much stupider things.

Bottom line, GW Bush is a likeable guy. I don't care how dumb he comes across, what his views are, or how much of a religious nut the man is, he is extremely likeable. He seems like the kind of guy you'd want to have as your friend. A kind of guy that you could sit down and have a few beers with (hehehe). He's like your dim-witted buddy from high school who tried to copy of your English test b/c he was out huntin' deer with his Uncle Chuck over the weekend.

Can't say the same for Kerry.

Then the American public is dumber than he is.

I never looked at my dim-witted buddy in high school and thought, "Hey! You should be president!"

I did.

"gee, wouldn't it be great to get a BJ in the oval office?"

"yeah, that would be kinda cool"

🙁 I do too.I've always been able too understand at least what he was trying to say. He is much better at conveying his thoughts in a relaxed enviroment.

I would probably say some equally stupid things when talking to reporters Of course I would probably realize it and correct it or explain what I meant.

at least get it right..im pretty sure he was talking of shipping natural gas in a solid form

Makes sense. He was speaking of it yesterday but you won't convince the people looking for faults.

Of course it still isn't solid.

I haven't talked to a SINGLE person in the education industry who likes the NCLBA.

And don't give me any of that "it's because now they actually have to work for their paycheck" crap, a LOT of teachers truly care about their kids learning and NCLB just isn't helping.
