Ok, what is the funniest movie you have ever seen...

I have a feeling that a lot of people are going to say Office Space, but I watched it last night and didn't think it was all that funny...

What do you think is the funniest ever?

My vote goes to Tommy Boy
 
Tommy Boy and Black Sheep are pretty funny. The funniest all time for me was I'm Gonna Get Ya Sucker.
 
Dumb And Dumber is way up there, so is (the first) Naked Gun.

But IMHO the all-time funniest is Airplane. I love that movie.

I made my friend piss his pants one time reciting a line from Dumb and dumber... he had a little honda 50 motorcycle with a bell and I drove up and said the following.

" *ring bell*

Harry:Where did you get that?
Lloyd: Back in town... traded the van for it... straight up. Still got room for one more if you still want to go to aspen."
Harry: just when I thought you couldn't be any dumber.... you go and do something like this.... AND TOTALLY REDEEM YOURSELF!
Lloyd: So you still want to go to aspen!?!?!?
Harry: ooohhh yeah! West Lloyd, west!
Lloyd: oh yeah..."


my friend was fixing his car at the time and he was leaning on it pissing his pants... I'm 6'3" riding on this little honda 50 so my knees stick out above the handle bars on the thing... that was great... I almost pissed my pants watching him piss his own. So there is no way that you can't say dumb and dumber isn't up there.

Unfortunately you guys(american) have not been exposed too much to european comedy....
There are some french classics, many featuring &quot;Louis De Funes&quot; his movies are the funniest I have ever seen... &quot;Les Charlots&quot; were also hilarious... &quot;Les Visiteurs&quot; with Jean Reno, not the recent american remake with Chirstina Applegate, but the original....

On the british side, Rowan Atkinson and his series &quot;the black adder&quot;.... much older, the &quot;carry on&quot; series...

On this side of the pond...


Adam sandler movies... they are definelty excellent...

The father of the bride 1&amp;2
The man with 2 brains...

and many more....
 
Lots of good choices so far, but the movie Strange Brew is definitely missing from it. It's the funniest movie I have ever seen. If you haven't seen it, think Monty Python and the Quest for Beer...
