I used to keep a directory on my server of images I had saved over the years because they were cool or hilarious. One day I decided to make them more publicly available and search-able, and made a kind of experimental web site.

The site became www.lolrandom.com.

If you have any images you'd like to add feel free to sign up and submit them, or just throw me some links in this thread, I'll do the rest. No, none of this is original content, it is simply an archive of some of the best images on the web in my opinion.

Comments/Suggestions on the site itself are of course welcome.

there are already a million sites like that. i think roflposters is one or imgchan.
 
Probably more than a million. The difference being I'm keeping mine small and focusing on quality rather than quantity...and not striving for commercial success.

Also...this is probably the sites first relatively high volume test. So be sure to alert me of any errors if you see them =)

Busted ><

The site is eventually going to grow to support three categories (whenever I get motivated enough to design and write a more advanced querying interface). Those categories are Cool, cute, and funny. Funny being the default obviously.

That image is actually filed under cute in the database.
