Buddy of mine works at a gas station, and got threatened by some customer. Said he was going to sue my friend in a class action law suit for price gauging. My friend threw him out.

I'd like to tell the guy, "You will pay any price for gas. You will never change your lifestyle, you will never change your driving habits. You are angry at the wrong person and big oil is laughing at you."

It's really stupid. He's been close to getting into fights in the parking lot over the prices of gas.

it's like getting mad at the weather.

I'm not mad at the gas stations. I'm mad at the president cause not only is his family profitting from this, his buddies over in Saudi are too.

His family is not profitting from anything. There aren't any 'buddies' that are either. Prices are high because the demand is high in Asia, especially China. :|

how china is moving into the industrial age, and i think they are buying up massive amounts of steal and what not too

Exactly. Also, gas prices were so low in the US in the mid to late 90's because of the Asian financial crisis. Industry slowed to a crawl, so there was lower demand for oil in Asia.
