You really are the embodiment of fail. Seriously. You think Obama is wasting time at fundraisers despite not being on vacation and working during those days and that Bush went to far fewer fundraisers, and then act all indignant when someone has the temerity to point out that Bush holds the record for most vacation days for any presdient ever?

So, I still have not seen any rational defense for this behavior other than the idiotic "but but Bush!". Is it fair to say then that there is no rational defense for this wasting of taxpayer dollars to put money in the coffers of the DNP? Yes, I'd say so.

He and the Dem's have been talking about the "good" war that they wanted to win, I know the words win and Dem's don't go together. Now he has no idea what he wants to do.
As far as the auto bailout.... I think that giving them bail out money and letting them go bankrupt and giving them more money is brilliant :roll: let's just call it a bailout of the unions.
Didn't he run on the platform of "Change"? Also, "going on forever" would imply that he's just doing what the others before him did. That's not the case: he's attended 4 times as many fundraisers in 9 months as his two predecessors did in their entire first year in office. For a man who inherited a horrible economy, two wars and a host of major issues like healthcare, he sure does seem to have a lot of time to waste on fundraisers, getting on letterman, giving speeches, trying to get the olympic games to Chicago etc etc. No, this is not what's been going on forever, he's the emty suit rock star president.
A few things - Clinton only attended 5 in his first year - and in the first round of elections, the Dems lost their majority - I would think it prudent to avoid repeating this strategy.
2nd - Bush actually raised 48M in his 6 fundraisers, Obama is clocking in at just 21M for this fundraising activities thus far - and many of them are taking place on the same days. Interesting disparity there.
Also - what was Bush's first year again? Wasn't there some big event that fall that might have curtailed any fall fund-raising he had planned?
Should we be surprised that foxnews is the only major news outlet running this story?

While there are other sources/types of stems cells being used in research, to say there is little promise in the study of embryonic stem cells is a flat-out lie.

I'm fairly certain that Bush is the one who said "I'm not a fan of timelines", or something to that effect. Also, the 'timelilne' you are referring to was put in place at the very end of the Bush administration, primarily so the GOP could claim they had a withdrawal plan. 7 and a half years of no apparent plan doesn't mean Obama's and Bush's handling of Iraq are similar.
