I feel bad cause no ones helping you, so I'll give it a shot. I have a Thermaltake Xaser III case that came with a Thermal monitor and case fan controller in one unit like the one you mentioned. I find that unless your fans are unbearable to listen to, theres no sense in haveing the fan controller. I always have all seven of my case fans at max speed. As far as the thermal monitoring goes, I find it useful if your into overclocking or just want to keep an eye on your temps. Its totally up to you, but I don't find it necessary.
 
from what i have seen and experienced, no. this is my personal opinion and here is why. you will probably never adjust the fans unless you o/c and from what i have seen, those don't go into the bios to get temp reads of the cpu, you put a sensor by/under the heatsink. if you are into case modding, then i would say yes for the cool factor, but personally that is not my desire, but if you like it and want it get it 🙂
