River has risen 10 feet since last Sunday (2/21) and is forecast to rise another 10 feet by next Sunday (3/7).

Yes, FEET, not inches.

60F and flood warning here. Tomorrow night it's supposed to be 18. I'm pretty sure that's how glaciers are made.

Three inches of rain over three days hasn't really helped in drying up the mud that makes it too dangerous to walk in some parts of my yard. OK, most parts..

Road will probably close by mid next week.

Gauge was at 20' on December 31st. Currently at 34' and forecast for 39' by Tuesday. That would be nearly a 20' rise in less than two weeks.

No rivers here...but in Aberdeen/Hoquiam, just a few miles away...the combination of heavy rain, melting snow in the mountains, and a rather high king tide all combined to cause some minor flooding in parts of the two towns.
