Fun spots in London/Dublin?

I'm going to be in Dublin for two days next week, and London for five D), so I'm wondering what sort of fun places each has. Daytime fun like great big malls, or interesting parks/places to see, as well as some good spots for nightlife. Any suggestions or recommendations out there?

I spent a week in the Dublin area on business, and my co-worker and I hit up the Temple Bar district in downtown Dublin a couple nights. About 5 or 6 blocks of bars, restaurants, shops, and more bars. We had sooo much Guinness, I can still taste it when I burp.
