Billiards. Not a noisy, smoke filled place, find a nice one. You can talk, play and have fun.

shooting range// even better yet - bird hunting
better ideal - go to the zoo - rent one of those paddle boats - of go to a lake and rent a paddle boat or a canoe, then do a picnic afterwards
if a larger body of water available - rent a boat and go swimming/picnic - a second couple can bring the cost down and increase the fun -
bathing suits, water, food and drink - a great time if you ask me
by the way don't do the shooting range thing, for some reason most women aren't as fascinated with firearms as men seem to be.
Last time I went bowling with some friends, I shot a 240+ first game, and 220+ second game. As I watched the other 5 people struggle to get near the century mark (I think one of them shot a 38), I realized I made a mistake. It was still a good time, but couldn't possibly make even teams or anything to make it competetive. From then on, whenever I'm with someone I know, I'll always throw left-handed with an alley ball.Originally posted by: ChefJoe
Heh. Bowling can be good, but not if you're used to doing it. Somewhat trailer park where I live at least.
Last GF who decided she wanted to go bowling with me was in for a big suprise though. I didn't tell her that I was in a league when I was much younger and just got bored with it. She was not a good bowler so after a few frames to warm up, I was forcing myself to take bad shots. This woman liked to be in control and believe she was better at things, so I let her.
