I thought it was kind of enjoyable finding the solution(s) to this one. It kinda shows just how geeky it is in Silicon Valley. A couple months ago, a white billboard went up here with only the following on it:

Within a week, a bunch of geeks solved it, and the solution is already all over the internet. So, if you want to have some fun, try to solve it without doing a google search.

I'm pretty sure it'd be a cinch with mathematica... but, I'm not going to re-install it just for that.
I was amused though, after you make it to the .com site from the bulletin board, if you look at the page source, it includes the comment "no help here" :)

No, now that I think about it... I *may* be able to get it with mathematica.... I'm sure I could find a function with those 4 values.. I'm not sure I'd have THE function they're using though.

hey, I've seen that billboard in Seattle.

It made me curious, but I was always too tired after work to actually find it.
