Fun "game"???

Had a few packs of mousetraps (all brand new) pre-emptively, figuring that being in the country, we'd end up with field mice once it got cold...

Kids and I had a "war" using a dozen mousetraps yesterday... set them and throw them. Lots of fun.
🙂

I hate when I do that with new threads... And, with dial-up, you guys have a good 2 minutes before I fix the OP

Ahhh, that's what reminded me of the game we played yesterday... Far more entertaining for me than for the kids... I was the only one not afraid of the traps snapping on me. But, the kids wouldn't give up. They'd call a truce, then an armed mousetrap would come flying through the dining room, into the living room, and into my chest. So, I'd arm 5 or 6, carefully balance them in my hands, and chase the kids around.

The kids kept hiding in rooms;
a strategy that worked (once of course...) was that after they cracked the door open, they'd see me on the couch and come running to throw one at me...
Sooooo, put a punch of set traps on the floor in front of the door 😀 Of course, not being stupid children, they learned to look before they stepped.
