I got a similar one for $50 shipped from ToyEast. It doesn't hover in place, but otherwise I think it's the same. I also saw one on home shopping network for about $60 shipped.

I have three of these new in the box that I can sell if someone is interested in them. They are the two channel ones, and do kind of go left and right as well as up and down. I had a relative pick some up from Toy East in Hong Kong. $55.00 each shipped Fed Ex Ground.

Does the ToyEast one actually turn on command or do these just go up and down? What's the fly time between recharges. Thanks.

I'm curious as to what they mean by turn left or right, that's only have the battle.

Do they actually have forward movement so when you do turn left or right the helicopter actually moves in that direction?

$100 seems way to cheap for a helicopter than can actually go up and down, hover, turn it's nose to any direction and then go in that direction.

Hopefully I'm wrong, I'd love to get one to play around with.

I was thinking the same thing... For this price, mabye combined with a stripped down baby monitor you can put a video camera on it. Now would THAT be cool or what?

These will not carry anything. The body looks good in the pictures, but it is actually made of styrofoam. They go up and forward, release the throttle and they come down. They "kind of" go left and right, but not with any real control. If you turn to the right or left too much, they just spin out of control. Basically, you have it take off, work for a few seconds to see if you can get it to do something "in control" which it really won't, then it is dead and you have to recharge it again. How is that for a sales pitch?!

Most of these sub 100 helos only have pitch and roll control, no cyclic or rudder. Great toys though. One of these will probably get your child addicted to RC. The next step up is around 500 for the whole package, so you better start savin. BTW, a good place to try is Hobby People or Tower Hobbies or HobbyTown USA. Online a place called EzonMag has everything you want on electric RC. Have fun
