Full Metal Alchemist Thread

I know that this series doesn't have the same following as Naruto on this board, but I know quite a few of you have seen this series. As of Episode 42, I can say this series has hit a point which not even Naruto can follow for the time being.

To download this series, you need to go to suprnova.org and search "full metal alchemist", it is no longer on animesuki.

I think the story has always been a little more interesting and mature then naruto, except for the little kiddy stuff that you'll find in all anime.

I have 42 right now but was busy watching naruto and samurai champloo yesterday. Will watch it while eating dinner today.l

hmmmm. perhaps i should get into full metal alchemist and samurai champloo. i've heard good things about both

Champloo is kinda funny, a little more mature then other animes in the things they portray, but not as good as samura 7. If you're going to get into 2 new animes, I'd say Full Metal Alchemist and Samurai 7. Of course, all three is even better.

While we have anime fans, anyone seen paste episode 2 of Yukikaze?

samurai champloo is awsome, the martial arts are super fun to watch

i stopped watching fma around episode 25. can i just pick it up @ 40?

Do yourself a favor and watch 26+

yes its sweet, i have watched up to 40, cause Spoon didnt have teh newer eps subbed yet, all the other groupes suck IMO so i wait for them

Champloo is really awsome, very Cowboy Bebop like IMO, i have the first 7, are the next ones subbed yet? is so LMk and i can get them hosted

good job, let's tell people to download licensed anime off suprnova.

Yes, let's all be good citizens and wait for the butchered dubs.
[edit] And let's pay $25 for a DVD with 4 episodes! Woo Hoo!

By the way, FMA is going to be realeased on 16 DVDs (3 per episode). That's a ripoff in my opinion...

there's no japanese audio on north american release anime dvds? 😛
$25 is cheap, anime dvds are 40-50 in japan.

and i'm not necessarily condeming downloading licensed stuff, i'm just saying it's not a good idea to direct people to on these forums.

no it is there and the subs are good, problim is it will be 5 years before the DVDs are out that are up to episode 40, there are only 3 per DVD and they cost 20-30$

id rather watch it now that wait 5 years for it and have to pay 500$ to get them all on DVD, i have a ton of anime on DVD and ill end of getting these but not for a while and not till they are all released

Actually, there is often a Japanese audio track. I just can stand the cost of most anime. It's ridiculous. Then I really don't want to wait for months or years before the full series is finally released. Plus, I love how many of the fansub groups include various Japanese cultural explanations in their subs.

I stopped watching somewhere after they start to focus on Lust's character and her past.

I only have 1 question:

Why do homuncurus want to become human so badly? There's no apparent benefit because homuncurus already have what human has. They're just stronger and immortal than the humans...

Why?

Bla bla. I'm sure everyone here as at least once in their computing experience downloaded something from Kaaza, mirc, torrent that was licensed. Keep in mind that with anime, there is no other way to watch it unless you do this. Also, these are shown on japanese tv... So its more just like rebroadcasting something on your computer monitor (thats how I look at it).

its not done there will be an episode 51

and seeing as SPOON has not subbed 45+ yet im going to wait because all teh other fansubs SUCK ASS compaired to SPOON

sonchou seems fine to me...

ep 50 was interesting.

i just started watching this series and im up to eps 10 already. hahaha. its pretty good so far. the series is more "mature" than i thought it was going to be (i.e. the death of the chimera or ed's capture of the serial killer).

yea its finally over, i think SPOON has up to 49 now

anyway its on Cartoon Network now, saturdays at Midnight, the dub is pretty good
