Fujitsu Laptops

i am thinking about purchasing a Fujitsu Lifebook N Series laptop (2.4 ghz/cd-dvd/ 60 gb HD/etc...). what have you guys heard about this product line? if any has owned/purchased one, how has your experience been?

My cousin has been using one for a year now, and it seems to work great for what he uses it for. other than the mistake he made of installing winXP on it when it was made for WinME. In other words the only problems he's having with it are caused by this fact. I've also seen Fujitsu soley mentioned a couple times alongside IBM, and Toshiba as being good brands for laptops. I was impressed with how many usb ports it came with. I went the Toshiba route myself as I found a 2.2GHz/cdrw-dvd/40GB HD for $850+tax after rebates (circuit city). They had the same one at Outpost.com for $900 shipped, but I think it's discontinued.

I owned an N Series notebook a beautiful machine very well made absolutely amazing screen almost CRT quality
fast and stable notebook built in .11g wireless (select models). My only beef was after using a notebook for a while
I decided that for me a Notebook menas portability while this obviously can be carried around it gets old after a while
being that it's close to 8 pounds and close to 2 inches thick but if you have no problem with that then it is a quality machine.
That's the only beef i had with it.
