My cousin has been using one for a year now, and it seems to work great for what he uses it for. other than the mistake he made of installing winXP on it when it was made for WinME. In other words the only problems he's having with it are caused by this fact. I've also seen Fujitsu soley mentioned a couple times alongside IBM, and Toshiba as being good brands for laptops. I was impressed with how many usb ports it came with. I went the Toshiba route myself as I found a 2.2GHz/cdrw-dvd/40GB HD for $850+tax after rebates (circuit city). They had the same one at Outpost.com for $900 shipped, but I think it's discontinued.
