They're color (10 blue, 10 green, and 10 red) and I haven't even opened them yet, but is this a good deal? (Or am I thinking wrong ;) )

average at best. I've been paying 9.99 for 50 8X windatas. and usually get 16x for roughly what you paid for verbatims

I bought 2 packs of those color discs (1 +R, 1 -R), from Staples several months back for like $7.50. The -R's burned at 12x in my NEC 3520A, and the +R's burned at 16x.

Better deal this week is the 50 pack Fuji DVD+/-R at Best Buy for $14.99

Very cold. Staples was giving these away for $4.99 on sale and they were the Japan models code YUDEN-002

Guys, without a time machine, Staples previous deals don't matter. I agree with walkure, the 50 pack for $15 is a decent deal if you are looking to buy some DVD R's this week.

best buy usually runs these sales on FF every month or so, thats when i go in and get both the 48x cd and 8x ty +R
i always miss those damn staples sales - they usually only last a day or two
