Fujifilm 48x CD-Rs FREE After Rebate at FYE

Do people still buy CD-Rs? It has been a while for me, hope this is no repost.

FYE in the mall has these Fujifilm 30-pack five-colors (blue, purple, yellow, green, red) 48X CD-Rs sitting in cardboard stands near the front of the store on sale for $9.99 with $10 rebate. Made in Japan.

Also, there're Fujifilm 50-pack CD-Rs on sale for $14.99 also with $10 rebate.

Missed out on the OMX's Khypermedia FAR deal. These made me feel better.

Went down and got 2 packs. Rebate limit is 2 per item. Also picked up Maxell 48pk of AA batteries also $9.99 - $10 rebate. Made in Japan, so it should be Taiyo Yuden. Looks like the rebates requires original receipt... I shoulda made seperate transactions.

Part of the Black Friday sale. Rebate is good till end of Dec, and the battery rebate is till 12/1/04. Dunno if the price is good tomorrow, but if it is, please let me know. I would go back and return and ring up the purchases seperately, so I can have 2 original receipts as the rebate requires original receipts. What a pain.

If not, I'll call up Fuji rebates on Monday so see if they'll take a copy. If not I guess I'll end up returning it.

if you still use CD-R's and havent jumped on to DVD writing, these for 10 bucks still are a decent deal.

Went into FYE today, they were out of the 30 packs, but they were $3 after rebate. They had some 50 packs for $5 after rebate.
