I got this camera the first week it was out last year and absolutely love this camera. Great looks and SLR feel
to the camera. Although i was a little aggrieved at having to spend on xd cards, the battery life is definitely better. As most reviews have pointed out, the pics look a little noisy when viewed at full resolution because of the aggresive compression algorithm but look great when printed out. If you decide to buy the S5000 be sure to check out S5000 net
