Nice little P&S camera. 24x optical zoom, 14MP. Plenty of features. Panorama shots, facial recognition (it can learn 8 people's faces & tag them), 3" lcd AND electronic viewfinder, etc.

BJ's has a $70 instant rebate on the camera, which brings it down to $179.99 + tax. I picked up the camera and have taken some excellent shots with it. Pretty decent reviews at B&H Photo (where they verify that the reviewer has actually purchased the camera.) That's about $20 cheaper than Amazon or Buy.

Another consideration: Here's a Fuji camera that is a smaller form factor but it has a bigger sensor which generally means better indoor pictures. This is a good deal for I think there is a newer model out. $170 (The sensor on the 2300 I believe is 1/2.3} The bigger sensor is best at 6 MP One negative about the smaller form factor is that it does not have a eye viewer, just the lcd screen

Here's a quote from a review of the f200exr on amazon.

Among subcompact cameras, hardly any offer other than the smallish 1/2.5 to 1/2.3 size sensors. The only ones I could find with wide angle lenses were from Fujifilm at 1/1.6 representing almost twice the surface area of the others' sensors. This was interesting because Fuji also claimed superior technology so it should have two advantages: technology and size.

The majority of pictures I take are outdoors. A viewfinder is pretty much a necessity. That's another excellent P&S camera though.
