AFAIK: the ones made in Japan, yes (black screw top). Watch out for the ones made in Taiwan (one-piece top, no screw).

fuzzy was asking about the TDKs. It sounds like you are talking about the Fujis?? And actually, the Fujis that have the one piece twist off top are still TYs, if made in Japan.

Don't mean to bash, just trying to clarify.

I haven't seen any TDK that are Made in Japan/TY but I haven't checked in quite a while.

If Best Buy sticks to their pattern of the last few months, they will have the Fuji 50 spindle on sale next week or the week after, which should be a better deal. The 100 spindles seem to be the best deal usually, but it will be several weeks before that comes around again.

Bah, limit one.

When CompUSA had the 30-pack spindles on sale a few months ago, it was limit 4.

Btw, TDK had some spin-top TY spindles at Circuit City B&M last year, but I haven't seen those since. Not that I really pay attention to TDK deals since Fuji seems to be fairly regular.

I'm waiting for UPS to deliver my 100-pack from last week. $10 AR + tax is a bit pricey though. ;| They're usually a bit lower than that on sale.

Last week's 100-pk. deal was $25 after IR - $15MIR = $10 AR or $0.10 per disk.

This deal is $8 after IR - $6MIR = $2 AR or ~$0.06 - $0.07 per disk.

The one per household limit might be a spoiler though. It should be checked on the Myrewards.info site. It does not usually have such a strict limitation. As of right now, I am only seeing 30-pk. color spindles though. Both of those allow multiple rebates.

Allisolm is the best source for CDR deals! And I was wondering what happened to her weekly post this week. This is a great deal!

And I was wondering what happened to her weekly post this week.

Family emergency - in-law fell and cracked her pelvis. Husband and I went to help her after release from hospital - arrange for home health aid, physical therapist, nurse, occupational therapist, follow-up doctor appointments, etc.. Thanks for missing me (or at least missing my post.)

Recently, I've seen some TDK's made in Mexico...what are those? CMC? I can't believe TDK is dropping that low...

Fuji do generally burn faster than the specified speed. I am not sure if they will do 52x, they should do 40-48x. Unless the store you get them from has like a 2-year old stock...

I am burning them 52x with my Liteon, no problem. I have a bunch of VCDs made that way.
