What has happened to the nomal computer case. These days it is hard to find something without light, faces, crap all over it. Driving me nuts. Sorry, but if they are selling in the US they have to realize that 99.9% of US citizens are not Japanese teenagers.

I should open a case company for normal people with taste.

EDIT: Oh and to answer your sweeping generalization, yes you should open your case company so you can make 99.9% of US citizens happy because your opinion conveys theirs.

I strongly disagree on the hard to find part.We still have an abundance of great (normal) looking cases around.Theres the Sonata,the SLK3000 series from Antec,Wavemaster and the classic looking Praetorian from Coolermaster and theres more from Lian Li and Silverstone.Now that's just a short list.

Actually, I don't think you'd see a single damn one of those in Japan. You'd be surprised how many American "hardcore gamers" would go for that case.

I'd actually call that "tasteful" case company Lian-Li, but other people may have their opinions too 🙂. Like fireontheway said, Antec, Coolermaster, etc. still make some solid cases that don't look like they belong to aliens.
 
I don't mind that case, I kind of like "different" cases. Not sure why people make such a big deal about cases, its all personal taste.
